The Rotorua Principals Association (RPA) Te Kahui Tumuaki o Rotorua governs and delivers Primary & Intermediate school sport in the Central Bay of Plenty
The RPA Sport Committee (RPASC) is a group of nominated RPA affiliated principals whose role is to sanction events on behalf of Central Bay of Plenty primary schools. This enables quality inter-school sport and recreation experiences to be delivered to year 0-8 school students in curriculum time.
The RPASC ensures events are safe, inclusive, affordable and fun, and promote a wide variety of activities to ensure every child has access to something that meets their needs and motivations.
The RPASC also employs a full-time sports & events director to oversee and deliver the experiences on the annual sanctioned events calendar. The RPASC meets every term to discuss the leadership and provision of primary & intermediate school sport and recreation.
